This just in ...

It's 9 p.m. here. You can see a stream of car headlights descending from the mountain range down the road from Panamint Springs. Lorie should be coming soon. Now it looks like the race will finish at its intended destination, Lone Pine, at the trailhead to Mt. Whitney. A little flash flood could change that in a minute.

It sounds like you are all doing so great. I have been following Lorie's progress on the website. I am so proud of Lorie's crew for all their hard work, and I continue to be amazed, although not surprised at how tough, and strong my friend is. I think about you all every single minute.

Go Lorie go!! I'm so amazed that the human body (and mind) can handle those conditions. I want to see what this crew looks like at the end.

Waiting in air conditioning,

Lorie,
How are we ever going to be able to talk you out of this craziness in the future if you keep doing so well? Buddha is sorely missed and his owner had a break down, so I had to tell her he was protecting Lorie. All is good now. Wait till you see the crime scene photos.

YOU DID IT!
Congratulations Lorie, great work crew!
31 hours, did the crew survive?
How is Budda?
Is everyone asleep, or having a beer?
Wow, I wish I could express my feelings, and you see my tears of JOY!

Hey everyone, lets toast to Lorie and crew. How about we all open/pour a drink at 5:30 mountain time and raise our glasses in the air?
To success in the Death Valley Fun Run!

Wait go Lorie great job! Now I can work tomorrow and not keep checking the damn website to see how far you have gone......cause you did it, how sweet.

I'm a little worried about the crew, they haven't posted anything since last night. Did you run them in the ground? I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to having you back to hear the whole story.
Take care Lorie and Crew!
